Dr. Maxim Chumak brings a unique blend of clinical experience, medical training, and patient-centered care to OxyRegen Medical. Before becoming a physician, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and spent more than seven years working as an ICU and OR Registered Nurse, building a strong foundation in hands-on patient care, surgical support, and clinical precision. He later attended the American University of Antigua, where he earned his Medical Doctor degree in 2008. In 2010, Dr. Chumak joined the U.S. Army at the rank of Captain and has continued serving as an Active Army Reserve physician.

Dr. Chumak completed his General Surgery Internship at Michigan State University in 2009 and his Family Medicine residency at Wayne State University in 2012. His background across nursing, surgery, family medicine, and military service has shaped a thoughtful, disciplined approach to patient care that emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and individualized treatment. At OxyRegen Medical, he applies that experience to help patients pursue better recovery, improved wellness, and greater confidence through modern, medically guided care.
